The Samsung Intensity recently became available for sale on the Verizon Wireless web site. The Intensity is a sideways slider that features a 1.3 megapixel camera, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, stereo Bluetooth, GPS and support for microSD cards up to 16GB. It has a host of messaging applications and offers threaded SMS messaging. The Intensity is limited to 1x data, but can still access a number of Verizon's mobile services. It costs $30 with new plan.

Intensity?
Why Intensity? Its a horrible description and a decent name that could have been saved for a better phone. Intensity is a name grabber that gets people in the 12-30 age demographic. They are into this intense/xtreme BS. However, this phone is clearly made for older, simpler users. There is nothing "intense" about a candy bar style phone that basically just makes calls. Oooh it has a vibrate feature? Intense!
Yeah you are right. Unfortunately there is nothing intense about it. With a name like that, I would expect better features from a device...
Same with the "samsung smooth."
