Sprint and Clearwire Add WiMax to Three More States

Sprint and Clearwire announced the availability of WiMax wireless services in a number of additional markets today. The newly covered regions include: Modesto and Stockton, Calif.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Wilmington, Del.; and Grand Rapids, Mich. These markets push Sprint's WiMax footprint up to 48 markets. Sprint didn't say what the total number of POPS covered is with these additional markets. Sprint said it is still on track to add Boston, Miami, New York and Los Angeles later this year.

I've had 4G on my EVO here in Wilmington, Delaware for the last few weeks. I guess they didnt want to officially "announce" it until now. But the 4G is gggggggggreat. I dont even use Social Networking apps when I have close to 10mbs speeds... facebook full site on my Dolphin Browser HD on my EVO takes under a second to fully load.
Also I use "Music Wizard" to DL free songs; they take about 5-10 seconds to DL - faster than my Comcast!
I just want to warn you that this constitutes as showing off!!! 😕
Yeah, I live in Las Vegas, but I don't have Clear right this moment, nor am I a customer of Sprint, though I do very much want the Epic 4G!!!!!!
