Yahoo! Launches Mobile Search

Yahoo! last week announced Yahoo! Search for mobile, a new suite of search and information services for use on mobile devices. The service includes Yahoo! Local, Yahoo! Image search, and Yahoo! Web search. Yahoo! Local includes local business listings with ratings, full-color maps, and driving directions. Yahoo! Web search includes support for special shortcuts, such as entering a sports team name and the word "score" for the latest sports scores. The service is available from any Internet-enabled phone at mobile.yahoo.com.
