most phones have a horrible GUI. its sounds like this will result in regular phones with a linux based OS with Palm gui and apps on top.
That is good. We might be saved from the horrible gui syndrome.
What happens to palm os 6 though. yeah they say palm on linux is an addition not a replacement but does it make sense to have two OS based on completely different code bases?

Does it make sense to run different OS's on different code bases on PC's? ie Windows & *nix variants? We might as well let handhelds have the same ability besides one code base might be better than the other and besides open source means anything is p...
