S-LCD?

Does this thing have a Super LCD? It would be a shame if it didn't! It probably won't be out til the summer and it's a shame that it won't be LTE. But I still hope that it will be a big seller because it's about time gaming takes off in mobile.
From what I understand, no, the Xperia Play is a standard WVGA quality LCD screen. Such a shame. Graphics/Screen wise, its virtually on par with the HTC Thunderbolt as both use the same CPU/GPU chipset; only difference is it's a smaller screen.

10 years since the T61c, and Sony Ericson returns

The T61c was my first Verizon phone.I loved that little egg-phone. I guess it had a bad reputation quality-wise but mine ran great. I had the bronze faceplate and QWERTY keyboard that snapped onto the bottom of the phone. SE had some great accessorie...

I hope this is good

I fell for the N gage and I still have it.
I hope it goes well.. I will get on more than likely. being a gamer and all 🙄
Yeah, I hope it's good too. I just read a review on Engadget and they didn't like it that much. Apparently the screen isn't the best but they removed Xpheria's UI which was a huge lagger on the original Xpheria. From the looks of it, many Android devi...

Amazing

VZW announces something related to pricing and these boards light up like the 4th of July with nasty remarks. A major device from a GSM carrier associated with a major videogame console gets announced for said network, and the board is dead silent.
Sorry, meant manufacturer, not carrier. (damn it Phonescoop, can't you get modern and allow editing???)

You do realize that today is Sunday? Most Phonescoopers are not going to browse this forum today unless they are unfortunate enough to be working.

Unbelievable!

I would not have believed this in a million years! SE does NOT do CDMA phones. What gives? I remember that little blue oval Ericsson phone Verizon sold in 2003 before Ericsson exited the theater and there was a Sony square handset that was flimsy a few years earlier. I would be very wary of jumping on this one. It should be interesting to watch though. What a shock!
