Rumor or wait??
Im really attracted to the rumor, however, I am EXTREMELY hesitant on making the decision or painfully waiting it out for another month and a half for the new year. I'm looking for neat new phones like the rumor..anything with a full keyboard and preferrably windows. Even though the rumor does not have windows, I'm wondering if it's even worth me spending the extra $15 or more a month to gain internet access if the browser in the phone is going to be cheap or "watered down" as i once read. I want to get my moneys worth..can anyone help me out and/or know of any upcoming phones that I should be looking forward to?? I MUST get rid of my prepaid!!!!
$149.99 after a Mail-in-rebate 😉
I agree, I must admit when I have visited two Sprint stores, there were groups of young kids asking about it. And you are correct, I am geared mroe towards a smartphone. I use to own the treo 700w from verizon but let it go after dissapointing reception. I have also owned two blackberry's, but I tend to stear away from them. I suppose the concealment of the keyboard and the physical format of the phone really attracted me.

I have called Lg and asked what format the ringtones were supposed to be in for them to work on my daughters rumor phone and they told me they didnt know that they just make the phones and sprint sends them the software to load ...

First, Sprint dosn't block TV or Radio on phones, they make money on those. It's more like Windows Mobile not being able to support it. WM5's media player does not support TV or radio.

BUT SPRINT WILL SURE TELL YOU TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER(AND THE LG PEOPLE DOESN’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PHONE ACCORDING TO THE SUPPORT PEOPLE I SPOKE WITH)
HTC makes the Mogul and Touch, and yes Verizon does call the Mogul a Mogul, they don't call it a ppc6800, I think they call it the VX6800.
Thirdly, Every carrier charges for ringtones, get use to it, Sprint allows you to go to 3rd party sites and downloa...
