The Moto V3M when it comes to the phone ringing snd not stopping even after you tried to answer itand even after the caller on the other end has hung up because you can't answer the phone? Anyone heard of this before? Any info on this is appreciated thanks in advance.

The Razrs are absolute trash. I dropped the V9m from one whole foot and out it went. Opened it and the hinge broke. So Assurion replaced it with the VE20 Razr. LOL thats the cheapest junk phone ive ever had. It lasted three days, took a fall from not even a foot and snapped in two.
Motorola is pure JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you able to answer the phone, or is not letting you pick up?
If you can answer, it's a software glich, you can try a software reset with the MSL, and ##RTN#.
If you can't answer the phone, take it to a repair center.
If it's water damaged call signal insurance at 1-888-352-9182

I don't work for signal or asurion, I have customers call signal first, if not, they will get either the number for asurion from them or transferred. I only work with retail, instore repair, AE

If youy're going to sell Sprint service, know your products inside and out. Legacy Nextel/iDEN account used Signal where as Asurion covers the rest. Thank God you are indirect.

Can't answer it when it does this It doesn't do it all the time but has done it like five times over a three month span. took it to a service and repair center and they just did firmware updates and said that should fix the problem. But the techs seemed bothered and I'm not sure they really put any effort into fixing the problem. this is my sister-in-law's phone and I wasn't present when she took it in.

Ask them to do a Advanced Exchange because the firmware upgrade did not work. If not have them back up your phonebook and do a software reboot.

There was no physical damage to the phone she has only owned for about 3 months. It just keeps having this issue.

If she has either the TEP for $7/month or the ESRP for $4/month, have her go into a corporate retail store that has service and repair technicians on site to look at it for her. They may have to just reflash it with the most current firmware. If that doesn't solve the issue, they may just replace it on the spot if they have a replacement Motorola V3m in stock or they may have to order her another one through Sprint Advanced Exchange Program.

They did the firmware updates yesterday and we'll see if it works but something tells me they should have done more.

Not all Sprint stores can do everything, even corperate. If you go to Sprint.com and do a search for the local repair centers, those are the places you want to go to. Be patient with them and they'll make sure everything will work to your advantage. If you have insurance (ESRP, TEP)there will be no cost.

I used to work for coporate sprint I know how it works as far as which store are service and repair centers the one they went to was a service and repair center. MAybe all it needed was a firmware update but it would seem to me to be a larger issue. I don't know I'm not a tech.

The larger issue is that Razr v3m's are awful, as are almost all Moto phones out right now and recept past for Sprit.
Issues like that are just expected as they all act up. It's just a matter of getting one that acts up a little and not chronically.
If it were my phone, I'd just buy another model and sell the Razr on ebay.

I love ny Razr and so do a lot of other people I know!! Perhaps it's bad on Sprint's pathetic network but not with other carriers.
