unlocked cdma phones are one of those things you will never find. the reason is that cdma recognizes the device by an eclectronic serial number esn the esn must be in the carriers data base in order for the phone to be on thre network. this is partially a security feature partly a network integrity feature. each netwok tunes there phones for the best performance on there network. this way you are able to surf the web send text messages all that stuff.

gsm being a simpler technology they those issues are not as bad so you will see unlocked gsm phones.

I guess that means the older Analog and Digital (1G, 2G) phones use advanced technology because they have an ESN? πŸ˜›

actually if you knew any thing about the industry there is no such thing as a digital 1g phone.

there is no such thing as 1g because 1 g was analog. 2g was digital 3g is when they added internet to the phone that used a packeted data delivery system. but i doubt you know what a packeted delivery system is any ways. 🀭

and for analog there was unlocked phones avalible back when they used to widely use analog. as for 2g phones yes 2g cdma is a more advnced system then gsm. because it is sentually the same as 3g just with out the packeted internet protocall.

*clears throat*

CDMA is not more advanced than GSM... They are two technologies of the same timeline... Simply because CDMA has influenced certain aspects of 3G techs (not all) does not make it "more advanced"... I would accept that CDMA has a better concept... But to say it's "more advanced" because it influenced a couple 3G techs is just simple-minded.

It's like saying Unix 1.0 is more advanced than Linux 9.2 because Linux is based on the Unix coding...

First off. It's unfortuante that you couldn't keep this civil and resorted to a flame. It’s "appreciated" and speaks well of your character. 😑

.... That would be why I said both Analog and Digital. Check it out: (You'll notice both 2 references in those brackets.)
