Yeah unfortunately the Mogul does NOT support Call Tones. Main reason why, is because it doesnt have a Content Manager like most phones. The quotation above IS correct, you can of course download full length songs via the Sprint Music Store, but unfortunately cannot purchase Call Tones on the Mogul. I would know I have the phone, and have tried every ...

an easier way is to swith to a reqular phone (non-pda, except treos) purchase call tones, organize them and move back to your mogul (or other pda.) The call tones will remain until they expire which is like 90 days i believe.

that doesnt work...at least it didnt for me, because I dont have a content manager. It isnt really good because if you deal with a wrong rep when activating your phone, they could count it as an upgrade and that means re-setting your rebate eligibility! 🙄

with every case that i have seen with pda cust having call tones, thats was the means by which they got their call tones. And yes, dealing with someone with less experience could cause this problem but they have made it a lot easier for us to recognize those problems and address them in store.

maybe just maybe they will realize that we pda user like to customize our phones too. I know they have said that they will be looking at ways to include mms (picturemail) on future winmo devices, so maybe they will go as far as to include call tones also..... 😁 come on Diamond

but it does not actually reset your eligibility date. Even if that rep will reset your upgrade the original eligibility date can still be verified through national sales support. As long as no New phones will be purchased at a discounted price

That is a good idea. To think about it i did have a call tones on my phone when i got the mogul until it expired.

Im trying to get call tones for when some one calls me and listens to music. I'm not trying to download music to phone

No prob Talia. but yeah the Instinct is going to be an awesome phone. I cant wait to get it myself! still, i might stick to my Mogul. i have it personalized like you wouldnt believe. This little Mogul has been thru everything with me lol

mogul is the same phone that i would like to get myself. kinda interested with the instinct but it's not PDA right?

yeah nits not a PDA. so i dont believe you'll be able to do all the hacks and customization you would normally get with my PPC. but hey, definately more advanced than the Mogul! especially that tilt camera thing, wish my Mogul had that. Eh, its no biggie. SkyFire on my phone is good enough browsing for me!
