So I have the Mogul right now and have to give it back (trial from Microsoft) and need to get a new one. I am ording in a Pearl and Muziq to throw on my account until I decide to do something about it. I was wondering if anyone is using a phone right now that is the best phone out there. So far this year I've had;

Lg Muziq (loved that phone's music capabilities)

Samsung M520 (Liked slide factor, sluggish Samsung programming tho)

HTC Mogul (love software/programs, too big- sucks when I'm running or disk golfing and trying to listen to music)

I'm leaning to BB Pearl or Curve, not going for instinct. Want to know Blackberry's media player ease of use. I haven't used a blackberry since my 7510.

Any thoughts will be appreciated oth...

Yeah that was the one I was thinking, but I like the smaller size because I'm pretty active and like to use my BT8010 with my phone for music and the mogul weighs me down too much. Try running 5 miles with a 1 lb brick bouncing around in your running shorts, not only do people look at you weird, my right leg actually tires easier. I would like to keep something no bigger than the pearl and a nice media player.

Good point about Volkswagen, car enthusiast are allowed to post

haHAhaHA ๐Ÿคฃ ... thanks

Honestly the Curve is quite light and i really dont see much of a difference with the Pearl. Its just the keyboard on the Pearl that really erks me (if you are heavy into email and text as i am this WILL become a problem in a matter of hours with the Pearl).

I thought about that too, 1/2 qwerty hmmm. But I can T9 faster than I can type on my mogul, it's just easier to type a really long text on it. I have authorization to order pretty much any phone and try for up to 45 days whenever I want. It's just deciding on which one I want to stay with (get tired of re-downloading everything)

Another option for you is the HTC Touch with the Spb Full screen keyboard available at their direct site OR directly from Sprint (to date no one with any phone as been able to "beat" me with typing IMs/texts/emails with this keyboard) ... the third party apps with Windows Mobile keeps me with this phone but i will admit that the blackberrys music interface is very user friendly and comes with the 3.5 for your headphones.

But hey if you have 45 days each to try the devices out go for it.

Yeah, I can order as many phones as I want and use each one up to 45 days, I would do the touch, but my roomate has it and I need a keyboard, that's why I don't think I'll like the instinct. Maybe I'll try the Touch in July when WM 6.1 is released with Rev.A for the touch

How loud are the Blackberry's compared to other phones as sound goes?

They are actually quite loud. Head on over to www.crackberry.com to buy an awesome battery cover from Seidio that not only makes the phone look better (in my opinion) but also makes vent holes for the speaker so it sounds even louder (this is for the curve).

I won't have it long enought to justify buying stuff for it, but that looks pretty cool.
