Phonearena.com seems to got their hands on an Instinct and here is there review. Looks like the Phonescoop.com device might have been a dud.

But even afterwards, they still prefer the iPhone just as Rich and Eric. Just goes to show that the iPhone leaves a hell of an impression on people even with its faults so I think it is time that Sprint fanboys accept the verdict, enjoy their great device, and move on 🙂

Wow, 🙄 All everybody wants to do is talk about the iphone. Its a year old! This is the first phone that even comes close to the iphone. So who gives a crap about what you think about the iphone. You probably never even used or saw the instinct. All I know is that I did play with the instinct and its pretty fast. Im not going to say which phone is better but both phones are pretty damn good. So quit bickering about which one is better.

I can only assume you use T Mobile, due to your user name. My question to you is, why is the iPhone better than the Instinct? Have you experienced and compared the two phones? If so, please tell me your thoughts. Do you enjoy the EDGE vs. EvDO rev.A? Do you enjoy the iPhone's hardware. platform, or WiFi music downloads vs. OTA via network? Maybe it's the Google Maps vs. BREW supported GPS? SDK? Give me something to back up your opinion. Or were you just trolling screaming the iPhone is better? Looking forward to hear your response.

i played with the instinct in the store today, and as usual the sub par 3g coverage in the store made web surfing sub par at best. i rather have edge service that WORKS, before crummy sprint that works great WHEN it works, and the 3g iphone is right around the corner so say good bye to slow edge. plus the call quality sucks, probably the fault of samsung more than sprint...but who knows the network is just so so in a small city like Seattle! 🙄 and please the iphone web browers BLOWS the instinct out of the water...apple nalied it and this failed copy cat is ghetto. Phonescoop nailed it with their review, the phone pretty much sucks!

Lol. Little city like Seattle. Well, I appreciate your response, and respect your opinion. I have to say, the iPhone has changed the wireless industry, and has re-made the mobile phone. Apple has only been in the wireless industry a year, and what a impact Apple has made. I can't speak on how Sprint's Seattle network works vs. at&t's network, due to lack of experience. I will compare the two when I'm there in August. Yes, I will have the Instinct and iPhone or iPhone 3G with me, and will compare networks then. My neck of the woods. Sprint works better than all the other carriers (my personal experience). My mother has T Mobile, brother has at&t, and my old coworkers have Verizon. The iPhone still lacks a lot of features I enjoy vs. the Insti...

You guy know Seattle is the 22nd biggest city in the nation. I don't think that clasifies it as small. Also I worked for Sprint in Seattle in 06 and some independent company ranked each companies network. 1st - Nextel(pre-merger), 2nd - Sprint, 3rd - Verizon, 4th - Old Cingy. Managers made sure to highlight this during trainings. Same as Tmobile that has billboards in Los Angeles that say best coverage in LA

Why does the iPhone win out, even with the "missing" features like MMS? I'll tell you:

Because what it does do, it does not only better, but FAR better than any other device. And anyone keeping up withe...
