Web Browser Icon not populating on Blackberry Curve????
I have an advantage employee line which is $45 for 1500 min unlimited text unlimited internet. I just got my Curve yesterday. For some reason the internet icon is not populating on the phone. We tried provisioning the phone multiple times. When I called employee accounts she told me that I need a blackberry plan. However the plan should come with included internet and when I ordered the line they specifically told me I was all set. Any suggestions?

This happened in my mother in laws account as well. I just went to The Apps menu, then click under Manage Connections, and on her Curve it showed the Mobile Wireless Network was off. I turned it on, soft reset the phone, then turned it on and it was there. I know i was playing a bit more with the phone before it showed up, but it has nothing to do with the plan. Just the phone doesnt have it as a default icon on the phone. But again do that, then chime back in and we'll see what we can do buddy!

I think i remember now, go to Options, scroll to Mobile Network, press the track ball, then push Start Provisioning. It should populate, after that turn the phone on or off. Takes about 2-3 minutes to power on. Did that do the trick buddy? 😕

Same problem with a friends phone ... thank you for your responses but have tried both methods with no change (no icon and phone is provisioned with data) 🤨

it does require the bb plan, after going through the samething, i had to add the 30 bb pack for it to work.
