You started a thread sometime back, in the Alltel forum, about trying to determine the areas targeted for divestiture. I have recently received a map from Alltel by VZW that show the areas they are planning on selling off. It really comes as no surprise, it's the overlap. The map really puts it into a great visual breakdown. It also goes hand in hand with the latest news article post on PS. It creates more questions than it answers, IMO.

It's a must see for anybody who follows this industry. You'll also notice, it is the markets where Sprint and AT&T are not currently in. Don't know if that is going to mean anything.

The map is in a PDF form. I am more than willing to share it. I don't know how to post a PDF document in the forum, nor...

I think it is hard to post that information, especially with no links, to a forum like this. If one actually looks in the FCC filing, they can see the potential divested areas as well as during the slideshow on the conference call. I would be careful with what you say or give on these public sites.

You could just talk about some of the divestitures and how many covered pops it is.

I think there is a main news story about the merger and divestitures.
