Sprint Coverage In Montana?

So, I know that sprint holds licenses in MT, and leases them out to Alltel in agreeance to not be a competitor in the area. I'm moving to montana soon and have a Sammy A900 which won't let me use data while i'm roaming. I'm wondering if since sprint owns the licenses, but just doesn't sell service, if it will show up to my phone as native sprint data or not. Also, I'm wondering what will happen now that Verizon is being sold through Qwest, and owns Alltel. Will Sprint start selling service? Thanks!

Sprint signed a Strategic Roaming agreement with Alltel about 2 years ago so a majority of Montana is "covered" although it is not native coverage. Also, and unless something has changed, that will not fall under the 51%-49% on-network/roaming as listed under the T&C with Sprint so you will be able to use it without fear of being cancelled for excessive roaming.
