Has anyone sold this item. It doesn't seem to be doing to well at our store or market. Nobody has bought this equipment or plan. Everyone who is interested is scared!!! I don't blame them, but there is a job aid on the Airave and it is sick to read. After the training I am dissy!! This is way to much to just activate. Has anyone sold one and had good feedback ๐Ÿคจ

Only a few here. One main reason is customer service/retention sending them out as save offers. That's good, but that's also most of the customers that might buy one anyway.

I suppose that may be true, but I believe they send them out free to the customers that also may consider the option of other service providers too. ๐Ÿ˜›

I have placed orders for them. But have not actually spoken to a customer using one yet. Good idea but it is sort of strange to have a 2 year commitment on an "item" that isn't even a line of service. I don't think the 2 year service agreement is a good idea for the airave. I will let you know if I hear from a customer on how it works. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have really bad reception at home so I picked up the Airave and brought it home. After dealing with tech support for 2 days one of the techs told me that it will not work properly with several of the PDA/Smartphones. I was using a moto q9c and the tech guy said that if he could get it to work, I would probably have to remove the battery from my phone each time I came home and left. He also mentioned that there are similar problems with the Palm devices as well. I like the idea - however it wasn't worth the hassle. I hope that they get the bugs worked out.

Glad to hear some feedback on the Airave, although I am sorry it didn't work for you. As I am located in Canada, I do not actually get to use sprint service. I have sent out only 1 airave so far. I do know that if you are having issues with coverage and all OTHER qualifying criteria are met, then Retention can send the airave for free. I hope that it will work going forward. I guess the PDA type phones are all EVDO (powervision-high speed) and the airave does not provide the EVDO signal, only voice. BTW, you should power cycle your phone at least once a day or so. If consistantly on, the network can lose sight of the phone. When powered up, the towers pick up the phone.

What are you talking about? 2 Year agreement on the Airave? I think you are mistaken. Please check and verify this. Thanx!

I am sorry so long for a reply. I was trying to check online at sprint.com for some of the info so I could direct you to the verification.
Unfortunately very little data is advertised there, likely due to the fact that it is not available nation wide. I will get the full details and provide further information tomorrow. It is confusing how equipment that does not even have an actual subscription can require a contract. Have not received many calls about them yet. Will be back tomorrow.

Sorry.....really long day......jk.....the airave only under 2yr contract if it is provided free from retention......if puchased at $99.99 and pay $4.99 per line then you have no contract....
