we cant change plans, we get over 6000 minutes on our plan.

ask them as a save offer to add roaming free?

well we called sprint to ask if we had free roaming and their respnse: "we wont know till you get charged for it"

i didnt do it, my brother did but I beleive 100% thats what they told him.

I seriously doubt thats what they told him. What they probably said is we wont know what you are actually billed for till the bill comes out.

If you just state that your considering to cancel they will get to retention, and we can definelty get that on all your lines or the ones that don't have it free. But free and clear normally do not include roaming it must be added but it is an easy fix.

That is about $5 additional per phone line. If I may ask, how many phone lines do you have? And how much are you paying a month without the taxes and other fees?

Roaming is an add-on on those older F&C plans. That's if the system still has the codes to enable it. How many lines do you guys have? It may be better to just have unlimited plans for $99 each. Well, $99 for the first, $95 for the second, $90 for the third and thereafter.

we have 7 lines total. We are on a Free and Clear 6000 minute plan for 185.99 a month.

With a plan like that, you might have more success sending an email to Sprint's ecare (contact form via Sprint.com).

That, or call your local store, ask for the email address of the store manager, send an email to him or her. The manager would have to forward it up the chain.

The main thing is that I'm not sure if the codes to add roaming as an add-on are available for the front line reps in the new billing system. It will probably have to be escalated for billing and IT to find a solution.

honestly sprint is cheaper than at&t. with n&w earlier, at 7 for free. at*t start at 9

we have had sprint since 1998. All of a sudden we are getting 600.00 phone bills. Roaming charges, long disance charges, etc.

ATT is offering us a 6000 minute plan with unlimited nights and weekends, mobile to mobile, free roaming, free long distance, unlimited text, rollover for 340.00 a month.

They are also giving us a 500.00 credit on our bill for switching, a free PDA phone, and additional discounts on the rest of the phones.

We are just weighing our options right now.

call, argue it with them. If it is new thing happen might be system error. we have been moving people from free and clears due to billing system not working right with the plan.

im not sure...my brother is just getting very frustrated with them. His bill was over 600.00 this month...it keeps going up every month.

All you need to do is add the 5$ a month roaming code to the plan.

Thats it.. why would you switch carriers? You said yourself youre getting butt tons of mins. and the plan is perfect, I guarantee youd pay more per month at another carrier.

You could also do the Business Essential plans, if you need more than the 3000 mins. the regular share plans offer.

its not my decission, its my brother. Our sprint representative is calling me friday to go over this stuff with me. I am kind of confused with everything on our plan. So its 5.00 a month for free roaming per line on Free and Clear? We have a Free and Clear 6000 Minute plan.

they offered me a much better deal than that at ATT but I doubt we will take it at this point. We are waiting for our sprint business rep to call us tomorrow. We cannot even get into the My Sprint online anymore since they changed it all. They told me on the phone today that to add picture msgs to my line its 5.00 a month, plus i need a data plan?

I can let you know ATT only allows up to 5 units on a family plan. Currently with the new plans Sprint also allows up to 5 units on family plan. You have a great deal with the Free & Clear plan. It is $5 to add picture mail on each unit. You don't have to subscribe to a data pkg. The data that is transferred is included in the $5.

i just spoke with sprint support online, the lady said i had to get 5.00 picture mail PLUS a data plan. So she was wrong? We do get a better deal at sprint but sometimes they confuse the crap outta me.
