prl rev?
i have seen a little about people having the prl rev changed i have a palm 755p prl rev 60611 what is it and should i have it changed?how do i do it?

Call *2, ask the rep to flag your account for a PRL update. Call back to *2. You'll get an automated message, "your phone needs an update," blah blah. About a minute or two later it finishes. Power cycle the phone (take the battery out and put it back in) and it should have the new one (if there was one available.

yes, a prl update is just a "preferred roaming list" update. This directs your phone on who/where to pick up a signal if unable to pick up sprint signal. Treo 755 may als require software update. Usually this can be done going through the main MENU, SETTINGS, PHONE INFO, UPDATE PHONE SOFTWARE. You can also get various support on sprint.com/devices....or just follow the links for support, phones, then manufacturer, and device. Good Luck.
