Swap out V9 for V950?

I'm trying to decide this right now, I've already ordered my V950 ($0) but I don't know if I want the switch. Has anyone used the V950?
I like the V9 for the huge outside screen and being able to read text on it, and the smooth feel. But I know a few people with DC and it would be cool to switch to it for a bit, not to mention it'd give me a good understanding on the Qchat and help me with my customers. I really don't care much about the mil spec. Can you still read text on the outside? Any software quirks other than the standard Moto software lag? Thanks, -Drake

I've had both and even though the V9 is a finger print magnet I preferred the V9.
Yes you can read text on the outer screen of the V950 and the speaker phone is very nice and you can use it with the flip closed, the key pad is a nice rubber easy for texting.
But NO DOUGHT the battery life on the V950 is horrid!
I didn't use the Qchat although I was given a Qchat number for free but at the same time I've read of people having problems with Qchat since it's limited to EVDO Rev. A areas, unlike iDEN.
So if you get a V950 better keep your V9 just in case.
I basically thought the V950 was a RAZR V3 wrapped in rubber with a really good speaker phone.

I love my V950, but battery life is bad. You will have to plug it in every night.Texts can be read on external screen.

I'm going to keep my V9 for the time being, I don't know if battery issues are going to be an issue, I always have extra batteries for my phones. Right now I have a battery for the morning, one for the afternoon, and one for night for my V9. I've already picked up five batteries for the V950.

One thing I have read is you can't take pictures when the flip is closed, which is a bit of a turn off. I main use my phone for calling, Music, navigation, and texting and soon a little direct connect (which I havent had in 2 1/2 years, memory lane ahh...)

Thank you for letting me know about the LED's, I wasn't sure if that was for show or practical use, I loved using my mogul's light as a flashlight in a dark room. Also thanks for the text speed...
