Metro's in Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland now too. They're probably going to be expanding beyond that within a few years. I know they are working into Jackson, Grand Rapids, and some of those areas by next year. I think it's good that we get more competition in this part of Michigan. We need it now that Alltel and Centennial will be gone. They offer unlimited everything for $50 a month. How can you go wrong with that!?

Yeah, AT&T is buying out Centennial. It was announced last week I think. It's here on PhoneScoop too. It makes sense because AT&T has large gaps in their coverage in the middle part of Michigan.

I see that now, it's about time! I use to work for them, and they're complete junk! It's going to screw over all those MyMobil places now due to the fact AT&T does not allow to be sold as a multi-carrier, and they pull most of their money off of Centennial.

Yeah, I didn't know much about them because I live in the Thumb, but I know that they are a cellular carrier so they must offer some good coverage in places especially when AT&T's coverage maps show much of middle Michigan to be roaming even around areas where they have native coverage. (The old Dobson network, which used to be NPI)

Not really, with Centennial you're mainly roaming the entire time that you're on the phone. I use to open stores for them, it's all cheaply made GSM phones running on a cheap network and cheap plans.
