Hi everyone.

I am new to Sprint. I just purchased a BB Curve yesterday with the Everything 450 plan.

What do I need to do to set up this phone as a modem for my PC??

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You need a phone as modem plan in order to use the feature. The everything plan does not include this, only data on your phone.
Here's the other thing, the current plan you have you cannot add the phone as modem plan.

This is what you can do if you want it. Change your plan to 450 talk plan #39.99 add the $30 data pro pack and the $15 phone as modem plan. You will only raise your charges by $15. I know that its basically the same but this is how Sprint is. You will still have everything you have with your current plan except all of the channels you get currentl with sprint tv. there are some basic channels but not as much as the everything plans. You will also still have the unlimited text as well. 😁

The Blackberrys cannot use pro pack, they have the Blackberry personal pack, and is the $15 PAM buyup combatable with that? I thought it was only a buyup on the $25 Data Premier?

they discontinued the PAM soc... phone as a modem will no longer be available>>DOESNT MEAN YOU CANT USE YOUR PHONE AS A MODEM! if you have unlimeted data you can still use your phone as a modem...

plug your phone into your computer with a USB cable, go to your internet connections on your computer and set up a dial up connection. it will ask fot the phone number that your isp provided you.. put #777

next it will ask you for your username and password.. your username is located on your sprint.com account... or you can call customer service and ask for your NAI username..

example: [email protected]
and as the password you put your username again, then press dial!

ive used it a ton..it uses your unlimeted data.. your covered...

đŸ˜ŗ you so have no idea what you are talking about. for one, creating a manual dun (i.e manual connection) does not require to enter username, pw and domain. as a matter of fact, you dont enter anything in there.
the pam soc has not been discontinued. phone as modem is still offered. i added it to an acct yesterday. the data plan does not include phone as modem. try looking it up in kms. there are some older windows mobile devices that will work without a plan. older data plans and windows phones that have not been upgrade to 6.1 still can because i have one. they will not be able to connect.
do you realize how many calls i get a day with people trying to use thier phone as modem and cant figure out why they cant? because they dont have ...

everything doesnt say it will inlcude phone as modem. it says internet on your phone. just because your phone can do it doesnt mean its free. you can download ringers on your phone but they cost $2.99. cant expect everything for free.
