I upgraded to 6.1 when it came out several months ago. I haven't noticed any downsides at all to the sound quality. If anything, it hardly ever freezes up anymore. The only problem I did have was with my email service. Microsoft did put out a patch for it and everything works well - er as well as a winmo can anyway. I just wish that Motorola had built a little more memory into the phone itself.
