"Best" is hard to determine if we do not know how you will use your phone.

What kind of features and services will you be using?

What form-factor do you like Best (Flip, Bar)?

What area do you live in?

What would you like your new phone to do that your current one does not?

What does you old phone do that you do not like?

If you can give us some more additional information we will be better able to help you.

Agreed--it all depends on ones tastes & needs. As for me, i've enjoyed my Pre (not rhyming on purpose). And the price has been coming down:

For some, they may prefer a BlackBerry, or WinMo phone, or not to have a smartphone at all. Give us some more info & we will help out further.

I need 2. My wife needs one that just makes calls. She sends 10 text a month. For her the style doesn't matter. For my self I will be sending around 50 Text a month updating my fantasy football team. As for the style? I like flip and slider phones but its not my #1 concern. We live outside of St. Louis in a rural area.

Woo Hoo! St. Louis people! I miss it up there! haha! I use to live on Scott AFB. Be careful with Sprint in places outside STL tho. Because Sprint is PCS, its not very strong in rural areas. On the AFB my friends always lost service when we went into buildings. In the rural areas, they would drop calls and switch from Roaming to 1 bar to just Roaming. There data didn't work all the time when Roaming ether. I'm not trolling on Sprint, I am just telling him what to expect. As for the city of STL, its great (unless your in the Metro underground, then you will loose service). I had AT&T there and it was a load of crap. I think Sprint works better then AT&T there. I tried Sprint but was not happy with it where I would travel to. Verizon works grea...

Do you realize that your posts aren't helpful. PCS stands for Personal Communications Service you tool!

There's a little rural place in Okeechobee County, FL called Viking. Do you want to know the only service provider that works there? Not Verizon, not AT&T, not T-Mobile. Still guessing? That's right...Sprint.

Put the Verizon Kool-Aid down and step away from the ring of trust.
