Roaming in Home Area ??? WTF
Last Friday, October 23rd, I was in my home area (Pittsburgh.) I was not in my neighborhood, but about 15 miles away, when I noticed the little "roaming" triangle on my Blackberry....didn't think to much about it until I got home and the ol' lady says "I left you a VM...why does your greeting say "WHAT?" i said my message does not say that.
Anyway, I went to check my VM...lo and behold there is NO VM greeting....I cannot make a call, cannot receive a call, cannot access my Internet Browser...NOTHING...I called Sprint, they got everything fixed, but , it was a pain in the ass.
I just switched my service from AT&T to Sprint, and sorry that I did. I should have known from working at VZW that there are all kinds of "roaming problems with...

There's no problem with CDMA phones and roaming. They just aren't particularly loyal to any tower.
Take a deep breath...relax...switch the roaming settings to Sprint Only. You likely won't have this problem again as the service is pretty good in PA.

Correct. The phone's (Blackberry) is looking for the proper PRL.
