verizon to sprint
has anyone on here switched from verizon to sprint???? I'm just curious if you werre happy with the service.....Thank you in advance, I am in Maryland and would love a cheaper bill, but I am really afraid to port over my business line because I need good reception. So instead I got a different phone number to use for the 30 day trail period....

I work with sprints telesales and can tell you that we have recieved a large amount of callers from verizon who are switching to us. This does have to do mainly with the data fees. As for them being satisfied, I can only let you know that my early return rate has gone down since recieving these calls but I can not tell you if it is the same for other agents.

Wow, I am not getting any responses...I am not too sure about sprint, but I had a friend who switched over to sprint and she said she returned the phone within a day, couldn't get reception inside many buildings that she went into.....That's not good...but i will test it out for a little while and see what happens

Your best bet is to take advantage of the trial period. I had Sprint for years with no issues but Verizon dropped me every single time by the airport (still a problem from what I understand).
From a customer service standpoint Sprint is light years ahead of where they used to be and so much better than the pre-paids(I use Metro now and love them).

Sprint has worked well for me in most cases, although Sprint's frequencies are in a higher band width so depending on your phone and the building you could have penetration issues. Sprint is supposed to reallocate it's spectrum once Network Vision is completed and they switch to 1x Advanced so penetration issues should be negligable.
Make sure you do your due diligence and check Sprint's coverage map so you can see if your getting the coverage you need.
