Port in credit question
To receive the port in credit do you have to port in during activation, or can you try Sprint out and if it works port your number in later and still receive the credit?

Correction.... You have to port your number over within 72 hours of activation and have the port in credit requested within 72 hours of activation.... however if you port over your number and dont like it within 14 days you can port back to your carrier and keep the number... and indirect retailers can offer the port in credit ( prefered sprint stores and corp stores) best buy, radio shack, wal-mart and target cannot, but it doesn't have to be a sprint corp store.

Correction, this promo came out in March i have seen customers who where "promised" this credit by different "prefered" sprint dealers get declined and in the email it goes back to "Point of sale"

I work for sprint...at a preferred retailer and we are able to do the port in credit... the only reason customers probably aren't getting it is because they have to request the credit after they port and I bet a lot of places don't request the credits for the customers.
