Attention Sprint Reps: Help Required
Hello to one and all. I work for a company called TelTech, who owns and runs one of the most popular and effective security programs for mobile devices called TrapCall. TrapCall allows users to unmask blocked, private, withheld, and hidden phone numbers that call their phones. We, however, have been having a long struggle with Sprint. Our service works off of Conditional Call Forwarding. Because of this process, we must manually send calls to customers' Voicemail boxes if they choose to use them. We requested this Voicemail access information from Verizon, at&t, and t-mobile, who provided it without a problem. Sprint, however, is the only carrier that either refuses to give us the needed information, or simply has no clue what it is. Because...

That number exists, and I know it, but good luck trying to get it here. The number is considered Sprint proprietary information.

Then can you explain to me why Sprint is the only carrier that refuses to give a number on a customer's own account to that customer when requested?

I'm by no means bagging on Sprint. I had them for a long time, and I used to work for them as a dealer. The information I'm trying to get I can't even obtain for my own account from any representatives. If the information is proprietary property, as a previous poster mentioned, then shouldn't I be able to obtain it for my own purposes? Even if I can't obtain the information for our customers, I'm hoping to be able to instruct them on how to get it themselves so they can use their own voicemail with TrapCall.

So you called Sprint, asked for the backdoor voicemail access and they wouldn't give it to you or they gave you the wrong number? What number did they give you?

They told me they couldn't give it to me. After 4 calls they gave me the old Nextel Backdoor number
