Yes, it just launched last week. 😁 If you have a vision enabled phone, log onto sprintpcs.com (from your pc) and where you would normally see your content catalog, just below "Screen Savers" you will see "Featured Call Tones."

I haven't tried it yet, since it's a fairly new service...

as far as i know as a sprint customer, i beleive that the sprint pcs account homepage is a dynamic page that only displays service features that are compatible with the phone on your account...what kind of phone do you have, DeltaGuy? and johall (or anyone else who might know), what kind of phone does he (or anyone else, like me) need to have in order to have access to the service?

That's odd. Any vision capable phone should be able to get call tones. That is unless you live in an affiliate market. Call tones are only available in Sprint-Owned markets currently.

Caller Tunes is for when someone is calling you instead of hearing the ring, ring, ring, they hear music while waiting for you to answer the phone. Caller Tunes is not the same thing as ring tones.

😕 I don't remember saying that that call tones are heard on the Sprint device....Oh well....

Yes, you are correct, call tones are heard by the calling party. With this said, my previous statement is still correct that only Vision capable phones are eligible for call tones. Probably due to the fact that non-vision phones don't have a "Content Manager" on sprintpcs.com and that is where one would purchase and configure call tones.

I have it & the only bad thing is that you have to type in every # you want it to ring for. When I spoke to Customer Service this morning they told me that it will most likely be easier to use in the future, as it's so new they're still working the bugs out.
I hope that helps 🙂
