my brother has a sprint plan and has room for 1 more phone to add on. He has a sprint pcs 2 year agreement until 2007 and is on a free and clear plan.

short answer yes.
but a 1 year agreement will not get you as much as a rebate. and once that year is up it does not matter. every customer gets the same upgrade plan weather you are on a 1 year or a 2 year agreement. if you are a sprint customer after haveing a handset for 1 year you are eligable for a 50% instant rebate and on selct models you get a 50% mail in rebate. if you have had your...

I'm pretty sure that isn't true, all of the secondary lines in a family share have to have the same length of contract as the primary line I believe. Therefore, if you opened up a new line on a family share you'd have to extend the contract of all lines. Of course the upgrade dates wouldn't change for any of the lines, just the service contract.
you are wrong. each line has its own contract. one could be one year and one could be 2 year. i see them all the time as well as i used to activate them all the time

Yes u can. You can goto a month to month at anytime...how do i know? Former Radioshack Store manager District 0819 NY Metro, Former Sprintpcs CSA, Whitehall-Charlotte
let me put this in plain english. if oyu are under contract you cannot go month to month.
come one sprint reps back me up on this one
if you are under an agreement you can not switch to month to month! if they were to switch to a month to month they can cancel the next month and not pay the etf!!!! think about it.
ps what is your ad log in? i want it so i can report you to corperate security and they can fire you for fraud!
if you would actually read it it says that if service is canceled before the agreed time (eather 1 year or 2 years) then there is an early termination fee of 150$.
thats my point as long as you maintain service, which u are doing on a month to month, you are not terminating service, as the agreement actually reads
if you are under an agreement you can not switch to month to month! if they were to switch to a month to month they can cancel the next month and not pay the etf!!!! think about it.
when they switch you to month to month, the system aumotically waives the etf, the same way it does when you go from a 1yr to a 2yr, or a 2yr to a 2yr.

I don't think stevelvl knows what he is talking about. With a 1-year contract you can get a $75 instant rebate off of the full retail price (plus any applicable instant rebates on the phone) and after a one-year handset life on file you can get another $75 instant rebate, but that's it. If you sign a two-year contract you'll get a $150 instant rebate then after a year you can upgrade and recieve a $75 instant rebate. There are no percent discounts involved stevelvl.
actually you are the pne whop has no idea what you are talking about. the one year rebate is 100$
the 75$ instant rebate you refer to is a 50% of half the 2 year agreement. before you com ein hear telling people they are ...

100%??? Does that mean after 2 years I get a completely, 100% free phone? I had a friend, who had a friend, that was told by a Sprint person she could get a free phone. So she goes to the store, signs up for the phone and stuff, and the person there says ok, that'll be $100 and here's your $100 rebate form. She blew a fuse because she said it was free. (I know, same thing, and I'm with Sprint on this, but, either way) Is this the kind of language that Sprint emp...
