Free and Clear America

Has Sprint decided to remove the "Free and Clear America" feature that could be added to plans for $5 which would allow one to roam without incurring a per minute charge.

I also do not see the "Free and Clear 100" (I think that is what it was called) that would allow one to pay $10 for 100 roaming minutes.

Originally it was my understanding that only "corporate" areas could offer this - however - now that I see that "corporate" areas in my area appear to no longer offer it as well.

Any information regarding this would be most appreciated.

this was the original off network option. Sprint has Fair and Flexible America Plans.

Thank you - I was unable to locate that myself.

However - it appears that those plans are not available in my area 😕 or in my state.

I checked a few local zip codes, as well as, some of the "corporate" zip codes that had the option to add the roaming as a feature recently - however - it appears all have been removed.

Any idea why? It was my understanding that the original method of adding it as an option was a test of sorts - however - I am confused why one would be able to add it as an option in the past - yet have no access to it whatsoever now in certain areas.

Would it be likely due to shortages in service area thus causing more roaming time and increasing costs in certain areas?
