Just wanted to let everyone know that day 1 will be about September 1st. Also, wanted to say that the gateway will be out in about 6-9 months.

Dual phones for iden (push to talk) and cdma (voice) to come into the marketplace in about a year to a year and a half.

In addition, you would want to pay attention in the September time frame because there will be a huge marketing campaign.

I will continue to update you all so stay tuned and if you guys have any questions please ask.

Nextel,
I was wondering if you know anything about Authorized dealers of Nextel also selling Sprint. According to my rep she said yes. That since we are a tier one company (I think thats what she called it) we will sell Sprints entire lineup. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if you wanted details or just one-word answers, which is yes and yes, the new sprint-Nextel company is a tier 1 company.

Details aren't necessary. The only reason I was asking was because I've heard nothing from my office. The only time I've heard anything is from my rep.

Any information that I can pass on to you with regarding this matter I will. No talk from your office? Hmm. Unfortunately that isn’t new with mergers but I am sure you will be either hearing it from them or from me. So stay tuned. : with that said, your rep is 100 percent correct with the whole Nextel and sprint situation regarding the stores.

There was a press event and a question and answer session with sprint-Nextel execs and they mentioned this about the affiliates; “merger-related legal issues with its affiliates in the "next several weeks," Chief Executive Gary Forsee said on Tuesday.” And “hopes to have reached decisions on "a path of either acquiring or reaffiliation" in the next several weeks”

I hope that helps all of the subscribers and who sell our products in those markets in this forum and I will try to update this as much as possible.

The street.com is reporting that within the next few weeks that Nextel partners will be bought out for $30 per share or $7 billion dollars, which would bypass the put option, however, these are just rumors and I will fill you guys in if there are any breaking news with nxtp or the other affiliates.
