What's in store for us Sprint customer? Are we going to be able to use the walkie talkie feature on our phones for free? Are prices on the rate plans going to sky rocket? Sprint Nextel insiders what' the deal?

this is some info I got from other forums

Beginning Day 1, Free Incoming plans will be available on the CDMA network.

Free Incoming Plans include:
· Unlimited Free incoming calls
· Long distance
· Nights & Weekends
· Unlimited Nationwide Direct Connect on iDEN and Unlimited Ready Link on CDMA


You can also sell to customers on the Nextel iDEN network any existing Nextel rate plan.
Beginning Day 1, The Sprint Fair & Flexible (plan for individuals), Mobile to Mobile calling & Night &
Weekend buy-ups will be available on the iDEN network. Please note: Fair & Flexible America, Family
or Area Wide plans will only be available with Sprint CDMA handsets.
