fraud
I have a problem with Sprint. I called today b/c I couldn't access my web account.
They informed me that the phone I bought off eBay over 2 months ago & actived over 1 month ago was used to open a fraudulent account. They told me they were shutting off my phone a.s.a.p.👿
Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas for me?

#1, don't buy a phone off e-bay 😉 , but seriously call SPCS cust care and explain the situation in a calm manner, "don't drive angry", and ask them to either replace the unit if possible, or other options that are available and acceptable to you, but don't expect the moon and stars above.

Good Answer, but realistically, #1 NEVER buy a phone off e-bay, and #2, Sprint has recently (very recently, like in the last month) stepped up security to prevent fraud. Your phone very well could have been used to open a fraudulent account, and since you're the last one holding the bag, I fear that you may be stuck---if they tell you that, try not to get pissed off, because the CSR may very well believe your story, but they can only go by what they see. Well, lesson learned I guess---don't EVER buy a phone off e-bay

True, I got ripped off couple of times and I feel like sh*t. I just wanted to find those f*ckers and beat the living sh*t out of them. Sometimes you just don't know what those mother f*ckers up to. There are lessons to be learn, but not like these. Just remember NOT to buy any electrical stuff on eb*tch . Sorry for the profanity, but if you got problems with it scr*w you.

I have bought & sold many many phones on eBay. As long as you watch who you're buying from things usually go very well. I have yet to have a bad buy. Even this wasn't bad. After hours on the phone & in the store. There is NO fraud on my phone. Some stupid A**WIPE at Sprint was way WRONG!! So I spent my valuable time filing reports & insurance claims over NOTHING! Believe me if I could find the little prick I'd show him just want I think of him.
I now know why Sprint CS is rated so low....they suck!!!!!!!!!
