Trying to get a new phone
Hi all, Well, I called Sprint customer service to see about changing to the fair/flex plan, I also was going to get the Samsung PM-A840. She said I had the $150.00 credit towards new phone. BUT its only good in the sprint store. So..I went to the sprint store, and they said they don't have that phone yet, I'd have to get from sprint customer service, he said they should be able to do that all over the phone, whether they give me 150.00 off at the store or customer service shouldn't matter. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

you can order the phone from customer care, and get the rebate... however it would be mail in. Instant rebates are only available in the stores.

You can go to a nextel store, they carry the 840, you dont have to go to a sprint store the nextel store will do it your you.

Yea customer serive lied to me today and said they could do it over the phone, then the store said they could, but dont have the phone..they were not nice to me on the phone at all. NExtel can do instant rebates and pull my my sprint account?

if the nextel store sells sprint products then yes. but be forewarned there are partner stores out there that have nothing to do with sprint. also you can go to radioshack; they started doing instant rebates lst month for exisiting sprint customers.

hello quick update, I tried and called back one more time and got a NICE PERSON, very helpful.. she is shipping the phone and gave me the credit. IT makes is hard when each time I call, 3 different versions are heard. Thanks again for the help 😁
