Phones???

Hey Sprint! Where are the phones? I'm really considering leaving Cingular and moving to Sprint due to bad service in my area, but the phones stink! I thought about the MM-7400, it's discontinuted. Then looking through Sanyo's site, I really started to like the MM-5600. Discontinued also! I kind of like the MM-A880, but when I saw it in person, it's pink and purlple! What gives?

Oh well, I'll give it a few more weeks. I do have to have a phone I'll like since I'll pretty much be stuck with it for the next 2 years. I've liked my V400 and I'd hate to give it up for some dopey phone from Cingular.

Does anyone have any sugestions or anything I should stay away from? I really don't need any of the multimedia stuff, but would like a...

I would advise you to check out the Sanyo 8300. It is a wonderful handset at a reasonable price. The reception on it is great since its a Sanyo, and has quite a bit of cool features. I personally have the 7400, and I would be willing to go to a Sanyo 8300 if I couldn't find the 7400 again. Hope this helps!

That's one of the ones I'm looking at. How does the accessory market work with Sprint phones? With mine, I've bought actual Motorola accessories, but on the Sanyo site, all they have is colored accent pieces. I'm really looking for is leather cases and software/hardware to connect and sync with a computer.

If you wait till thanksgiving, Sprint will release 3 more samsung phones, one mid october(last readylink phone+more), one nov 1st(2mp cam, bt, mp3player +more) and one thanksgiving (the blade-bt, 1.3mp cam, +more) and the 870 Nov 1st, for the nextel side, BT, 1.3 camera, mp3 player, mini sd slot with a 32k already comes with phone
