So am I right to assume that sprint has completely stopped expansion of the 2.5g network and will now be dedicated to the 3g? Furthermore, does anyone know if sprint plans on completely filling in the current 2.5g network with 3g service? If so how fast will this happen and is there even an ETA on that being completed?

yes, you are correct regarding the 2.5g and now they will be focusing on the 3g roll out and soon the 4g roll out with either wimax or flarion.

Wimax, but who knows if that technology will produce the output and the range that it has been indicated to be at. Flarion, we kinda have an idea becuase nextel has been doing tests as well as other companies...

wimax, right now is sorta speculative but flarion isnt...
