SIM cards?

hey probley a silly question, but does CDMA use SIM cards? I have GSM so i know nothing about CDMA. And if you got a CDMA phone is that the number with that phone you can't change it like a GSM SIM card? thanks

no CDMA phones to not require a sim card. Only GSM networks such as CellularOne Cingular and Tmobile

and don't forget Nextel phones use SIM cards as well....

CDMA has an ESN (electronic serial number)

i 4got 2 add

you can change phones you would just have to call a CSR and tell them the ESN on the phone you want to use, so that the system recognizes it as your number

Yeah, pretty much. Your number has to be programmed into the phone and it can take up to about 2 hours before you can use the phone to make and recieve calls, but we walk you through that because we're nice like that. 😁
