How to switch out of the Sprint service to another carrier

Without penalty how do you switch out of the Sprint service to another carrier?...

If you are still under contract with Sprint you will pay the early termination fee.

Actually, if you don't have coverage at your house (billing address) and if the coverage area system can verify it, you can break the contract for free.

you could go to www.celltradeusa.com and sell your plan to somebody else.

call me a pessimist, but i'd stay away from that one, find someones house switch your address and say you dont' get service at your house, any good manager will gladly terminate your service without the ETF for this.

Indeed. I called Sprint today and dropped my phone (6 months into a 24 month) and my wife's phone (9 months into a 24 month) all be cause "we were relocating to the middle of Illinois without PCS coverage". Sprint rep said, "we are sorry to lose your business, Mr. Smith, but we hope that you'll come back to us if our coverage changes or your location changes." 3 minutes later, I hung up a free man. Thanks for the tip. I even called one of the direct numbers from another thread and didn't have to wait on the phone. I love Ph...

I am actually moving to a town that doesn't have sprint coverage. Can I still keep my same # by switching to another company? What do I do? Switch the number than call sprint to tell them why it happened to avoid the ETF?

More than likely your S.O.L. in this case...Porting will deffinatelly charge you the ETF.
