Which is better in Minneapolis?

Which carrier is better and has more service in Minneapolis/St. Paul? Verizon or Sprint. I live in a rural area and i think Verizon works better, because my friend can use his Verizon phone @ my house. But my other friend with Sprint it doesn't work should they have roaming agreements. I do live in a rural area, maybe thats why. Thanks

I had sprint for over a year while i lived in downtown minneapolis from 2003-2004, it worked great there and there were a lot of other folks who also had sprint as well. I did know of some other people though that had verizon and it seemed to be OK there too.
