Why Choose Sprint..? Help

Matt716

I would like to know why should I choose ? I live in San Diego and their new digital network thing is available here. Why should I choose them over Verizon or Nextel...which are the 2 that I am debating between...? Any help with which carrier to choose would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Also, I think you should know that I do not travel a lot, none at best/ So having network all over is really not a big deal. I do like to txt alot..but not to a lot of verizon users. So anyone want to help...?

Thanks so much,
Matt

Well, even if you don't travel a lot or at all, a larger network will naturally mean more capacity, which will ultimately mean better call quality, less of a chance of dropping a call, and more freedom if you choose to travel.

With Sprint, in my opinion, they do not offer the service in which an average user is getting the best deal for their dollar. If I were you I would be looking into a large nationwide footprint.

My choices would be in this order,
Cingular, Verizon, T-Mobile

Just my thoughts.

Depends on what kind of service they have in your area. If they have good Power Vision coverage, then take advantage of it. I just had a customer about an hour ago who came in the with Samsung A950 from Verizon. I hadn't seen the phone in person yet, and I was curious about seeing what Verizon's VCast had to offer, compared to Sprint. It took quite a while longer to log into their video service, and when I got into it, it was very sluggish. On top of that, they did not have anywhere near the number of channels that the Sprint TV has. While the song downloads are 50 cents cheaper than Sprint, they have disabled .mp3 playback on their phones, which is the best feature of my Samsung A920.

As far as Cingular, I went to the mall the oth...

Three different tiers.

$15 Basic TV and Web access
$20 More TV features and Picture/Video Mail
$25 Ultimate Pack

A lot of extra stuff is seperate monthly charges...kinda like pay-per-view.

Well, I sometimes don't think about that stuff, because it is included with my employee plan. But if I were to pay the $25/month...hmmm, let's see.

My favorite things are the stand-up comedy, NBC news updates, and Jay Leno clips. The On-Demand is what I use the most, to read the news articles everyday.

Many of the features are extra, on top of the $25/month. These include satellite radio, full movies, adult swim, and even swimsuit TV. Many of the things were dissapointing. The Adult Swim channel only had about 3-10 minutes of each cartoon, with about 8 cartoons in total. I know they are adding some stuff to it regularly, but to pay an extra 6 or $7/month more for that wouldn't be worth it.

Overall...I would have to say, yes...if< ...

I THINK YOU SHOULD NOT GO WITH SPRINT!!! VERIZON IS MUCH BETTER THAN SPRINT I HAD SPRINT FOR 6 MONTHS AND COULD NOT TAKE IT, AND HAD THE PAY 150 TO END THE CONTRACT. NOW I HAVE TMOBILE WITCH TO ME IS THE BEST OUT THERE AND I WAS CHECKING OUT THAT IN SAN DIEGO TMOBILE HAS GREAT COVERAGE. YOU SHOULD TRY TMOBILE FOR THE 14 DAYS TO SEE HOW YOU WOULD LIKE IT. 😁
