In building coverage is less a function of coverage than it is of the building itself> Typically 850 mHz provides better penetration than 1900mHz. indoor signal can be hampered by building materials, location of building in relation to the tower, etc. How is your service outside?

Sounds like an IRDB issue. There has been a great deal of tower development for Cingular in that area lately. Visit your rep and ask him or her to resend the IRDB push. The IRDB is the Roaming Database for the phone, and would include all towers on the network. The phone you have works on either 850 or 1900 mHz, so I doubt that would be the problem. Most likely just a software update. Good luck!

There are a number of things you can do on your own to improve coverage, regardless of what carrier you're with. There are a few companies that provide indoor coverage systems that will improve your coverage. Check out www.spotwave.com.

In addition, go to www.deadcellzones.com - it's a great site that will let you see where the dead zones in Arlington are. You can also report new dead zones. They cover both indoor and outdoor coverage.
