Glad to help since I'ma Verizon subscriber...

All it means is that they limit their bluetooth capabilities (no OBEX, DUN, etc.), they also lmiit the ability to use MP3s as ringtones and to easily transfer files to the phone.

There is a rumor however that Verizon will get better at not crippling their phones in the near future.

Based on my opinion and what I've seen between Sprint users and Verizon users in Brooklyn, NY I would have to say Verizon gets the nod for overall better service but I would give the nod to Sprint when to comes to the 3G network.

If you ask me, Sprint Power Vision blows away VCast. Sprint actually has streaming video and Verizon has VCast music and preloaded VCast videos that are expensive and extremely slow to download to the phone.

Sprint also has better phones than Verizon for the most part but that is another story. ;)

Vcast is actually cheaper then sprint's power vision plans. sprint has some live tv streams but in order to get them you have to pay 20 or 25 a month and its kinda limited at this point. verizon's clips arent live but they are updated on a daily basis and they are cheaper, so its all personal preference.

in a year or so it will all be moot as both carriers will im sure have a wide range of fairly affordable live tv on the handsets.

Yea, I totally agree that each carrier has its pros and cons when comes to the 3G network. I also agree with you when you say that in a year both carriers will offer live TV. I think I read on mobiledia or even this site about verizon having an agreement with someone that provides live television for the phone.

Also, it makes browsing mobile sites a breeze with Sprints power vision.
