Sprint charging a monthly fee for 90% of the games they offer? That's pretty god damn lousy! I have to pay every month for a game to be on my phone? 🙄

Verizon does the same thing but they do offer unlimited pricing depeding on which game you want. I don;t know how Sprint works in that respect since I never had Sprint.
...
They disclose that upon purchase. Some of the applications are the same way

That's one downfall of the Sprint's power vision network. It's one of the best in the industry but it is pricey for applications and games. Most of which are monthly. I beleive i saw a few downloads awhile ago that you can buy straight up or monthly use. Look into it, hopefully sprint will work on that soon, paying 20 dollars a month for internet access then 3.00 a month for sirius radio, then another for each channel, the prices add up. But all in all dollar for dollar most people like it.

Sirius radio sux on mobile phones.

SPRiNT USED TO NOT BE LiKE THiS. . . DAM.N NEXTEL. . . HiGH PRiCES AND BS COVERAGE. . .

Nextel purchase has NOTHING TO DO WITH Sprint coverage!!!! The towers don't even speak the same language!! As a matter of fact, plan prices have DROPPED for BOTH SIDES since the merger!! Man, get yourself a little knowledge before making comments on this forum.......I wish stevelvl were still on here! He would let you have it!

PLAN PRICES haven't dropped. The amenities of the service have even went up in PRICE.UNLIMITED TEXT MESSAGING was $10 with the purchase of a VISION pack. not anymore regardless if you have VISION or not is $15. The FAIR AND FLEXIBLE PLAN also. . . it USED TO BE $5 for every 100 minutes now its $5 for 50 minutes. . . i find it ODD that PRICES WENT UP not DROPPED. . . INSURANCE EVEN ROSE A $1.
i KNOW because i have been with sprint for the last 3 years. I wish STEVELVL was here to make you look stupid speaking on what YOU don't know. . . If sprints prices have dropped since the merger why is it that they have fallen behind TMOBILE of all service carriers on this site??? Lower prices usually means more customers, and more customer means ...

Plan Prices HAVE dropped. If you look at the most recent changes the price on 300 incoming minutes dropped ten bucks. the cheapest family plan went from 400 minutes to 550 minutes at the same price. individual F&F plans now include nights at 7...however some of the plans went up $4...which depending on how you look at it, its now $1 cheaper. some of the F&F plans are the same price as before, but with nights at 7.
You are right in regards to 100 minutes no longer offered for $5, and now its 50...but that happened before the merger if I'm not mistaken.
...
Plan prices HAVE dropped plyboy!
1)Nights @ 7 used to be 7.00......now FREE on individual plan.
2)No roaming USED to be 5.00. Now included. Wow, thats ALREADY 12.00 LESS.
3)Ready Link USED to be 10.00. Now 5.00. hmmm
4)Insurance is 6.00 now and used to be 5.00. HOWEVER there are 3 levels of it, from 3.00 to 4.00 to 6.00. No need to pay 5.00/mo. if all you care about is protecting your equipment, i.e. if you are willing to have yours repaired not replaced.
4)Base family plan WAS 400 minutes for 59.99, NOW 550 minutes for same price (CHEAPER per minute).
And I am sure there are a few more areas where Sprint has DROPPED PRICES, I just don't feel like looking anymore since my point is proven. 😲

one thing we should all understand prices will always go up, thats the natural swing of the industry. However, you pay for what you get, customers want faster better applications, so you have to pay for it. with major companies, like sprint in this case, alot of times what happens is price shifting, yes the price plans may have dropped $10 , or 7pm may now be included, but they may increase feature rates or charge for applications that customers want in order to equalize profits. Do you realize that it actually costs a company apporximately $35/month to maintain a customer?? so anything that sprint makes is from additionals or what they call add on MRC over $35/month.. theres some food for thought ;)

First of all.... if your trying to make a point like you are with:
"PLAN PRICES haven't dropped."
Im pretty sure that the emphasis should be on the "haven't dropped"... RIGHT? You dont want to emphasize the "plan prices". thats not the point you are trying to make. the point your trying to make is that they "havent dropped" So... lets try this:
Plan prices HAVEN'T DROPPED.
However you are right... the plans did go up right as the merger went through on 09/05.
