Sprint's International Plan for $4 a month will not work for the first 90 days, due to federal law (homeland security). I added it to a customer's plan so that he may call Germany and he came back 5 days later saying that it was not working, I then proceeded to call customer care and they told me and my manager that it will not work for 90 days because (federal law). Just some info to tell customers, it sucks for us because 50% of our business is Military! Not anywhere on the Sprint site or the Brochure that we have says it will take 90 days. But 3 different CSRs told me that.

Actually, any account that's within 90 days of activation is due to a background check by the International Calling Verifaction Team. They work Monday through Friday and are variable about the time they take to verify the customer is safe to make international calls. 1 day to 2 weeks is what I normally see.

Either way, that customer will recieve a text message or a call from them regarding it.
