i am thinking of switching to sprint.i would like to know where exactley the towers are for my area.i have tried sprint in the past but could not talk in my house.this would be a business and home phone so i need it to work in my house.if someone can help me i would really be thankful.

try goint to sprint.com and looking at their coverage map for your zip code.

I DID THAT AND IT DIDNT TELL ME WHERE THE TOWERS ARE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THEY ARE AND THE LOCATION ( THE ADDRESS WHERE THEY ARE) OF EACH ONE IN MY AREA.MY ZIP IS 14615 ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD.

There is no need to shout. You can always go into a Sprint store and maybe they can look up the location of the towers for you.

Sprint considers exact tower locations to be proprietary information. You're probably going to get resistance in trying to find them out. Try to get a new guy that doesn't know any better.

1. tower at SW corner of 104 (W Ridge rd i think) and 136 (Long Pond rd)
2. tower between Stone rd and Vintage Ln (or Mill Rd) on 150 (Mt Read blvd)
3. tower on the east side of Lake ave, north of you, almost up to whatever road goes along Lake Ontario.
4. tower at SE corner of HWY 390 and that road that runs along Lake Ontario.
5. tower east of you, and I'm really struggling on this one, but i think its at N Kings HWY and Titus ave.
6. tower along what i think is Dewey ave at some railroad tracks. i think this is the closest one to the middle of your ZIP.
7. also, a repeater at SW corner of Long Pond Rd and (i think) Vintage Ln.

Forgive me for horning in on another persons post mobile_trojan, but I am also interested in going with Sprint. Could you tell me if Sprint has any towers in the 44410,44418,or 44483 zip codes and how the coverage is in that area? I have been trying to choose between Alltel,Cingular,and Sprint. Could you shine some light on this for me? Thanks

i dont think the information they provide is accurate at all. at best it is missing several thousand towers.

read my response to the other end of this thread. those are current as of today for his zip code. sprint tech support can look them up if they know what they are doing.
