STI mobile phone on Sprint Account

I want to use my STI mobile prepaid Samsung SPH-A660 on Sprint account. Why I can't use it?

STI Mobile is a MVNO of Sprint and it directly connected to sprint network. It also dial *2 direct to Sprint as other Sprint phone. I called Sprint, they refused to do it. It shows in Sprint system that the ESN number in in use with another account. I guess STI might have reserved a block of ESN with Srpint or something.

This was bought brand new about year ago.

From what I have heard is that you can take a Nextel phone and get a start-up kit and use your old Nextel as a Boost phone. Is that right?? And if so why can't it work the other way around?

I have seen that done before...The Nextel handset was used as a Boost phone (Swapped the SIM) However, a lot of the features are not available when this is done!!
Why DOESN'T it work the other way around????? Good Question!! 😕 😕 😕

it doesnt work the other way around because nextels use sims spritn uses esn's logged on their network i dont know about sti but it worked with an espn MVP you have to get in good with someone who works for sprint or a third party and they can call in cust svc and have the esn added to the system then activate it like normal
