In essence people, the new Treo 700WX is the Treo 700P with the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS instead of the Palm OS. It looks like all the other features are the same between the two as far as memory and functionality.

Thing is, the features really aren't the same.

Odd thing, the WX doesn't support Picture/Video Mail or Sprint TV. A few other features as well of which slip my mind at the moment.

As well as it still lacking in the resolution department at 240x240 compared to the 700P's 320x320.

I'm currently a 700p owner as well as being an owner of a device running WM5 (HP ipaq 2475). WM5 annoys the crap outta me. Frequent soft resets even just trying to exit a program, random icons disappearing from the "Today" screen. Unable to remove broken program/shortcuts. The 700p is a lot more stable.

Just my $.02

as far as resets, etc, i didnt have this iisue when i played with it. i had to actually try to screw it up. granted that was only for about 6 hours on one day, but i think i gave it a haard time.

Right. Same with the PPC-6700. Was just stating information for the Treo question.

I'm talking months of usage with the pocket PC. Installing software, removing software, etc. It's slowly become more unstable as time has passed. I guess it's the same with all electronics...some good, some bad. But I've heard the same thing from a lot of people. Hopefully the wx will be different.
