the mvp is the sprint's sanyo 9000 phone that was rebranded for Mobile ESPN. The espn content is basically anything you can do on ESPN.COM you can do from this phone. As in watch highlights, get breaking news, set alerts so you know when a certain team scores or for news on ur fav players and teams. theres a lot of cool stuff it can do.

ESPN Mobile, a subsidiary of ESPN, is a MVNO.
Mobile Virtual Network Operator/MNVO.
MVNOs are wireless companies that have their own branding, marketing campaigns, retail stores/kiosks, and handset/accessory offerings, but use another wireless carrier's network and towers instead of building out and operating ones of their own.
In essence, ESPN Mobile like Virgin Mobile, Movida, Disney Mobile and Amp'd Mobile set the pricing of both rate plans and phone prices, handle the customer service and care of the customer and conduct their own marketing campaigns. The first 4 MNVOs I mentioned all use Sprint PCS for their infrastructure while Amp'd Mobile currently uses Verizon for theirs.
ESPN Mobile currently offers 2 handsets, the MVP...
