What is it?..is it just basically 4G speeds that will allow sprint to reach the speeds it needs for video conferencing etc???\

So Sprint already has revA going and moving on to this 4g (wimax) is this correct? what the heck is veizon doing if this is the case?

Thanks trying to understand this

pretty much nothing... verizon doesn't even have a game plan for their RevA upgrades, let along 4G... this post links to a good article on the subject.

Then how the heck will verizon be ready to offer video conferencing?...they really do seem to be lagging.

I need to pick up a third line and trying to decide between tmobile and sprint but seems to me that sprint in dominating, now I understand they are going through a little growing pains attracting customers but they seem to be cutting edge is the services they offer now and even more so in the future.

Well, it depends what you want with each carrier. T-mobile wont have data for quite some time, faster speeds I mean, so it is best for you to get the carrier that suits your high-speed data needs, if that is what you want.

Well, I will not get into the technical words but just explain it over in nonprofessionals’ terms, it is classified as a 4g+ data network, and it will allow more bandwidth, speed, and capacity to be spread over a vast area where Sprint has spectrum.

Yes, Sprint is still going to go to REV A upgrades and then they will go put an overlay network of WIMAX and there will be in the future D0/Wimax type dual devices.

Verizon is not doing anything with 4g+ yet and that is why I said earlier they are in trouble if they do not become organized.
