If he's still within his first thirty days he should go back to the store and switch it out... you're going to be paying a lot of money for his new phone since you will be buying it at retail price... I suggest the Sanyo 2400... great phone, durable, and good signal... it retails at $170.

Renardlee, when did your dad get his Nokia phone from Sprint? Go to

so you can see if he qualifies for any sort of rebate off the regular price of the handset. Worst case scenario, he can get the Samsung A640 for %179.99 plus applicable sales tax which is a pretty nice flip style phone with Bluetooth, a VGA camera as well as an external LCD for caller ID.

your dad actually sounds like a tricky buyer. if he is like most dads i know he wants a basic phone with few bells and wistles. this is just my sugestion. go with samsung, people will tell you sanyo is best but there cheep phones are crap. samsungs are the easest to use for people who are not natually technically inclined and samsungs anlso have the best voice clarity and most imp[ortantly they have blue back lit keys which make them so much earer to read. if you want to get him a good phone make sure it is what is considered a mid range phone. eather the samsung a640, the a840 or the a960.

but like i said that was just my sigestion.

ps i am a technician not a sales rep. i know which phones come in for what and how many of each are ...
