Thginking of switching to sprint....

Can you give me an honest answer....will I have a lot of dead spots? verizon is just so boring with their phone selection

look I am not going to get in the who is best argument. I am in the military and have been allot of places. I have had service either with sprint of roaming were alot of my buddies had nothing. So it works for me. ANd now with the data roaming with alltel I get full vision services while roaming. Its great.

Honestly....
I have used EVERY service. Sprint works great. I saw no difference in coverage between vzw and Sprint, at least not in Boston, Ma or Portland, Or, where I used the two. I love Srint's phones and UI and Power Vision IS sweet. Every company has it's ups and downs, but overall I have always been happy with Sprint. just my 2 cents...honestly.

I think it's also worth mentioning that the type of handset you choose can affect the consistency of your reception. I noticed a significant difference when I moved from Samsung to Sanyo devices. Now, Samsung has made many improvements on their devices and (IMO) have surpassed Sanyo in many ways. However, even though I'm using the Samsung A920 at this time, I'm inclined to think that Sanyo is probably still the RF leader on Sprint's network in California. Again...just my opinion.

To contrast the two carriers for you...I recently moved from Northern California to Southern California. My girlfriend (who still lives in N. Cali) is a VZW customer. She uses an LG phone. Although I've never used LG devices, they seem to be decent. Her device is...
